Our School Holiday Reading Boot Camps provide an opportunity

for students to receive more intensive literacy support during the school holidays.

Sessions follow the same explicit, systematic and cumulative approach as our regular O-G Reading Clinic program, with teaching beginning at each student’s identified point of need. Skills are taught directly and practised through visual, auditory and hands-on activities, with a strong focus on developing accurate reading and spelling.

For current students, the closer spacing of sessions provides valuable time to consolidate new learning, strengthen skills that are not yet secure and maintain progress between school terms.

Boot Camps also provide an opportunity for new students to work with us during the holidays. This may suit families who have been waiting for an ongoing appointment, as well as those who would like their child to experience our approach before committing to regular weekly sessions.
